Leaving public practice, he started a company that was to grow from serving the local Toronto market to supplying the Canadian school and public library market with books and resource materials. His administrative skills and strong desire to serve led him to London and the University Hospital in the late 1980's. During the past 11 years, he served both University Hospital and the London Health Sciences Centre as Vice President - Finance and Information Systems. His experience with his father-in-law's struggle with Alzheimer's disease led him to truly understand that there is a great need in our society today for residences that offer people the opportunity for dignified and independent living combined with an umbrella of services that would be available to them if and when these services were needed to meet the activities of daily living. Along with his wife Cathy and the other members of the INSPIRIT team he is looking forward to serving the residents of INSPIRIT and creating an environment where they will truly enjoy the lifestyle offered. |
