The 11 ft by 8 ft kitchen is separated from the living room by a 2 ft by 2 ft square cupboard and from the dining room by a 3 ft by 2.5 ft counter with undercounter cupboards and drawers. This separation is ideal for those who are most comfortable with a private kitchen. Every kitchen in Inspirit is equipped with three appliances; a stove, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. The kitchen is meant to be used, so, while Inspirit offers a Food Services Program to ensure you receive your nutritional requirements, you have the option of preparing your own meals, if that is something you enjoy doing. The spacious floor plan of the kitchen allows for the easy movement of walkers and wheelchairs. To top it off, a window over the sink allows natural light into one of the busiest rooms in the apartment.
