Social and Recreational Programs
In addition to the social and recreational activities that residents may pursue with their own circle of friends, Inspirit provides a Program Director who encourages residents to join in a program of activities, providing opportunities to interact with and enjoy members of the Inspirit community.
Residents may participate in activities such as:
- Drop and shop and grocery shopping
- Gardening
- Afternoon tea
- Art classes
- Movies
- Musical entertainment
- Exercise classes
- Bible studies, chapel services and pastoral care
- Special speakers and travelogues
- Fashion shows
Program staff arrange a variety of day trips and community outings, such as visits to craft shows, country drives, lunches out, theatre trips, and miscellaneous shopping sprees. Weekly and monthly program schedules are provided for residents.
